Frequently Asked Questions

How do digital downloads work?

Your art arrives instantly — no shipping, no waiting! Here's how it works:

  1. After checkout, you'll get an email with a download link (also on your order confirmation page)
  2. Download the PDF — inside you'll find a link to your Google Drive folder
  3. Open the folder to find your print files in every size, ready to print at home or your local print shop.

2. What sizes do the prints come in?

Each purchase includes files sized for the most common frames — 4x6, 5x7, 8×10, 11×14, 16×20, plus A4. Need a size you don't see? Send me a message — I'm happy to help.

3. How should I print my art?

You have options! Print at home on cardstock or matte photo paper, upload the file to a local print shop or pharmacy photo center, or use an online printer. For the best results, I recommend matte paper — it suits the vintage storybook style beautifully.

4. Can I get a refund?

Because these are instant digital downloads, all sales are final. But if you have any trouble with your files — printing issues, wrong size, anything — please reach out and I'll make it right.

5. Is your art really hand-drawn?

Yes! Every piece in this shop is hand-drawn by me, using a mix of pencil and paper and Procreate on my iPad. Follow along on Instagram (@alyssahammontreeart) to see my process in action!

6. Can I use your art for commercial purposes?

All art is for personal use only — print as many copies as you'd like for your own home or as gifts, but please don't resell, redistribute, or use the files commercially.

Interested in licensing my art for your business or project? I'd love to hear from you — reach out through my Contact page!

7. Will you be making art from [my favorite book]?

Probably! Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, Anne of Green Gables, and the Brontë sisters are all on my list. Follow along on Instagram @alyssahammontreeart or join my email list to hear when new collections launch — and I always love hearing requests.

8. I lost my download link — help!

No worries! Check your spam folder first, then send me a message through the Contact page with your order number and I'll get your files back to you.
